Weinstein is about workplace harassment and Mack is about a cult that was involved in traffiking, these are two completely different situations. #MeToo got so much traction because so many women ( and men) have experienced similar occurrences as those of McGowan etc. Having said that, the media has reported the Mack story. If the public hasn't started a #sexcult movement or started venting outrage, that's not on the media. That's on the public.
