I will never not love Jorge Jimenez's art after this arc of Smallville season 11. BQM's Diana and Steve were awesome, and the "secret boy" thing was a really great throughline.
That's from Wonder Woman #25, the last issue of Rucka's second run (during Rebirth). It was really sweet, with art by the incomparable Bilquis Evely.

What is the most important thing about Steve ‘s character? I mean yea he is average man with a girlfriend/wife to Diana. I always though due to being around Diana he should be able to use the mythical weapons and items since he learned about how to use them
Well, he has varied a bit, but to me personality is more important than tools.
1. He should have an obscene amount of self-confidence. Not in the sense of being self-centered, but rather that he knows his strengths and limitations very well. He will never hesitate to ask for help in order to appear secure. Likewise he will readily recognise the capabilities that other people have.
2. He is a very good at making use of the capabilities that other people have, both in planning and in improvisation.
3. He is a good planner, but also excellent at improvisation in the face of changed circumstances, and is able to remain calm in almost any situation.
Could Steve ever be able to get his on mini series? If so what would you want the series to be about?
If it was just a mini, id want to pit Steve against some of Wonder Womans lower level enemies since he'd be a better fit for em. Draska the deadly, Gentleman Killer, perhaps 'The Cartel' with its group of superpowered assassins.
Now if Steve was able to garner his own full blown series id wanna see his brother Greg Trevor set up as his arch nemesis.
Ok (checks watch)
I think it's his wits and his struggle to be a good man. Movie Steve was perfect. He devotes himself to Diana because he sees the best of humanity in her. She sees more in him than he does in himself.
Also he's a little bit mischievous.
Oh damn, here comes another movie viewing LOL

If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

Regarding the question of what the most important thing is about Steve Trevor, honestly its a bit hard to say as various takes on Steve over the years have shown several different facets of the character which wildly differed from one another yet still worked.
The original Marston Steve was an excellent cook who was good at housework, led a boyscout troop, played baseball with children, and was very pro military. He was kinda like a lovestruck puppy with lines like "Well if we are going to die angel at least I will be by your side~" and "That gem might look nice but it will never look as gorgeous as you beautiful" or his tendency to ask Wonder Woman to marry him every other issue. It wasn't golden age Steve if he wasn't flirting with Diana every chance he got. He was basically a lovestruck fool mixed with your standard man of action.
The Perez Steve wasn't romantically involved in Wonder Woman and was a soldier who was very doveish and pro peace. An older fellow who was opposed to war.
Then theres movie Steve whose this cocky Han Solo type with snappy one liners and a 'worldwise' schtick where Dianas learning from him about the outside world. This takes a bit of a cynical goofball.
If theres a correlation im not sure what it is
Steve was a goofball in all of the Wonder Woman runs. And despite being for peace in most of the runs he still is a soldier who fights for what he believes in. Even if it’s not always how people want him to do it

I wonder do you guys think Steve has been written better in rebirth? At times he has been a bit to boring with some writers yet he can be written to be awesome and interesting. Argus he should be one of the best agents. He should have made a group that is diversity to help if heroes go rogue. Diana should trust Steve with his duties enough to give him weapons in doing just that. But he knows people like Waller will want that even if heroes aren’t rogue. So he should have his own room to not let people like Waller get them
For most of Post Crisis after Perez Steve was essentially a non entity.
New 52 made him so bland and overly serious that Scott Summers would probably tell this dude to chill out and lighten up. Let that dull but Rick Flagg have the one dimensional man of action angle. Gimme a fun Steve Trevor
So far Golden age, the 80s, and Rebirth have been the best Steve Periods ive seen.
As for Argus I confess im just not a fan of the organization in the slightest. I mean the new 52s concept that this organization was founded specifically to help the Justice League and that Steve Trevor led the whole thing had some promise, but the whole Amanda Waller bit, the morally questionable elements of it, and the plain fact that next to nothing has been shown of Argus that paints it as a particularly competent organization with Steve Trevor voicing distrust of a group that he is simply an agent of now just sour me on it.
I've only found the Legends of Wonder Woman by De Liz and the movie Steve Trevor to be interesting. Which is a shame. Rebirth was decent in the origin story, but in the other half he was just a badass soldier. Like Diana, Steve is good at war and fighting, but it's not what defines him.
Agreed. That's why I want Steve Trevor to be out of the military (ex-military is fine), at least no later than short after the origin story. But instead they put Etta Candy into the military as well, robbing her of everything that was making her interesting and compelling too.
