Tim Seeley is an okay choice for Suicide Squad
DC should probably think about relaunching it altogether

Just give it an adjective, like Spectacular, Amazing, Uncanny, Deadly, Suicidal, etc.

Maybe, Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad?

I would never read a SS book ever again if it was called HQ and the SS. That would just make me hate her more.

If you didn't know already by reading comic news, you wouldn't know by looking at #17's cover that there was any change.

Retailers aren't going to gamble on a #17 issue with no fanfare. They may order one extra copy...

Current Teen Titans readers are the only ones that will really benefit.

Non-readers glancing on the shelf will just see another issue of that Teen Titans book they're not interested in.
Well we should recall that GA transform at #17 with a new writer, and even with a terrible writer TT has been known to be a consistent seller so I cant see this going any other way than improving.

I can see the adjective company being all up in DC's grill for using any of the first three.

Seeley is gonna be awesome on Suicide Squad. Hopefully Pak can redeem Teen Titans, I may even check it out.

Im speaking quality wise here. It will probably be better, but will it really be something truly good or will it just be better then it was. Im not sold the even a good writer can really do anything worth a damn with this cast anymore. We'll see though.

A good enough writer can do great things with any cast. It's an issue of having that great writer who has that great direction in mind, and giving them the freedom to pursue it fully. Not to mention having the artistic collaborator who contributes and complements that vision. You only have to see Alan Moore's work at Awesome and Image in the 90s to see how important that element is.

There are a lot of moving parts in making a good comic. A lot of elements have to align perfectly, and one can never be sure that they will, even when everything seems great individually. The hardest of all to come by and predict, I think, is that 'spark' of direction, because it must be reinvented and remade completely each time.

Didn't even see that Seely was penning SUICIDE SQUAD. Might have to grab a copy.

Still would like to visit the alternate reality where Ales Kot penned a huge run on SS that is universally praised.
