People who are portrayed as being too dumb to live. These are your idiot characters who don't even understand basic functions of something.
The Gypsies had no home. The Doors had no bass.
Does our reality determine our fiction or does our fiction determine our reality?
Whenever the question comes up about who some mysterious person is or who is behind something the answer will always be Frank Stallone.
"This isn't a locking the barn doors after the horses ran way situation this is a burn the barn down after the horses ran away situation."
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
The common plot of the lone wolf super solider who has to fight against the vast government conspiracy. Invincible in hand to hand combat, never misses a shot, if a woman can punch out much bigger men. Without Remorse is a current example.
Another thing is the general incompetency of the military, such our one hero has to save the day.

Or even care. It's not like the next day people would be like "were you at that party last night" because none of them are particularly memorable anyway.
Oh, one I'll be noticing from now on: an audience of reporters at, say, a press conference, and we get reaction shots of the audience -- but the "camera" filming them is one of the news cameras. News cameras will almost never get a reaction shot from the reporters; their attention will always be at the center of the news. Obviously, that's how you know the movie's news segments were filmed by a movie director, and not a news crew.
Depends. There's probably not a single house party that everybody attends, but most campus towns have a district crammed with bars where a significant percentage of the students turn up on the regular. Probably a bit different in campuses located in major metro centers. It's been one of the things driving university administrators bonkers in trying to address covid; their students are throwing vast super-spreaders 3-4 times a week.
