I definitely get the X-Force comparison... but I think this will have a lot more in common with more classic X-Men adventures than you think. At least, that's the goal.

AGREED. Cullen is a class act here, on Tumblr, and Facebook. I was actually surprised when a Question I asked about Psylocke got turned into several news articles. Bunn stepped up and answered pretty straightforward, without giving away long term plans.

Hey Mr. Bunn. I've really enjoyed Psylockes costumes over the past few years. I you've got pull at Marvel. Please have them "burn" the thong. :P Lets get her a NEW "Iconic" Look. I love what Anka did, didn't like the lack of color. But I love her suit she has in your book. Nice mix of several costumes, and homages to past looks.

PS: Bring back kwannon, and make her a true character. #Christmaswishlist.

I wish I could be excited for this, because I loved Bunn's work on Magneto solo, but I've just clicked through those preview pages and they're typical, off-putting, awful non-art affair by Greg Land. As soon as he's off the book, I'm adding it to my pull list. Until then, I'll just read recaps here.

Although I'm tempted to say Extraordinary and Uncanny are co-flagship X-books. They look at Xavier's dream in two different ways (or that's the way I understand the mission statements of each book).

While I would love that to happen, I think we'll see Rogue in this book when life ends on planet earth (400,000,000 years) as in never. She's back with Gambit again, and remains in the cold hands of the AVENGERS. (And do you really want to see any discussion about UNCANNY derailed?)

By the way, I wonder what happened to Briar? Is she still Magneto's friend-with-benefits?

Storm is. From what I can tell, just from two issues, she's done more than Cyclops managed to during Bendis' Uncanny...

I too, fear that Magneto's power increase will come at Polaris' eXpense, but am REALLY hoping I'm SO wrong. It does kinda feel inevitable though, what with this:

He's much more powerful than he was in the Magneto solo... Well... maybe not at the end... but that kind of power has a cost.

... to get him there, it sure seems like that's where we're headed, regardless of how predictable or repetitious of a development it would be for Lorna's character. I'm sorry, I just assume the worst lately, where my favorites are concerned.

... and fiX the mess that's been made of his character; sad to see he wasn't included in the previews - the inclusion of Mystique, Sabretooth, & Fantomex as regulars, along with the presence of Land's aesthetics, and being fraught with worry over Lorna's fate, remain hard to ignore drawbacks... pun intended.
