I'll be interested to see the final secrete wars issue sales. I personally will not be bothering to pick them up since we are already issues into all new all different. I mean what of consequence can really happen now that we know what post secrete wars is like. They really shot themselves in the foot cramming so much filler into the main book. Now that they've actually stopped treading water everyone's already moved on.

Unlikely. Even if every potential reader decided to give the last issue of SW a pass, it wouldn't affect sales. These books were sold to comic shops well in advance. Very low customer interest in the final SW issue might affect how shops order Marvel's next big event series, but even that's iffy. Generally speaking, the market has a short memory.

Very true. Comics really have a great business model in that they don't sell directly to the consumer. That way they never have to suffer the effects of them delaying or screwing up a book.

It also shows you what a hollow statement just vote with your dollar is from Marvel since it's never the fans dollar they are getting.

I really am liking this book more than I expected and I thought I was going to really like it. I also am loving the release schedule it's nice not to wait forever between issues. I do just wish they'd de-age Logan already this Cable with claws look just isn't doing it for me. Besides the fact that it's so dumb that the guy with the healing factor looks super old while the guys from the 60s with no anti aging properties to their powers look about ten years older than their 1960s counter parts that are running around.

Logan looks that old cause he's 50 years older then our logan. In his reality. He looks the same as in the original OML tale by Millar.

I think I have read somewhere that Pixie graduated too in some run and wasn't there something with Rockslide too? Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

I think Pixie graduated at the end of the WatXM volume before Logan died. And I'm pretty sure Rockslide got held back.

Kinda unrelated but that Storm without a face creeps me out.

Agreed. Ramos draws him looking ancient. Even Cable looks much younger and less wrinkled over in UA.

But I wouldn't sweat it. OML won't stick around forever. Eventually "our" younger Logan will return. Probably around the time they recast Wolverine in the films with Tom Hardy (hopefully).

McNiven's OML looked way better than Ramos'. Older and gray, but not ancient looking. More like Clay Mann's (awesome) version on that (awesome) variant cover.

That's what everyone thought when Jean died in NXM, 11 years after and we only have Jeen who is kinda of an alternate version just like OML. Except that OML still have most of Logan's background... With OML + Wolverine Laura I don't see they're doing it any soon. I like logan but I think is good that we kinda have a break of him, I mean, last years were pretty...busy.
