Not buying the LoT thing. No one approves a 2nd season of a show before seeing some ratings from the 1st season. Now if they get a 2nd season they may want to have Constantine but they have to get enough ratings to justify it first.

While I assume it's more of a "If we get a second season, we'd like to use Constantine," Better Call Saul and Fear the Walking Dead both got second seasons before the first had aired.
