Invincible Universe?

When the title first came out I bought and enjoyed the first few issues. I think finances kept me from getting more, but I had planned to when I was able. When I went to see what was out there on Comixology, I noticed that the last issue was # 12 and was released in April. Is this comic discontinued?

Yes, issue 12 was the final issue. There are hints it might continue again at some unknown point in the future (though I'd assume with a different creative team and probably a fresh #1) but it is, unfortunately, finished for now. They didn't announce any of this until the letters page in issue 12.

I still think they should bring it back as a book similar to Marvel Comics Presents was back in the day. 4 stories per issue... some were multiparters, some were one and done 8 pages. Different creative teams for each story.... I believe they call it an anthology?
There are SOO many untapped characters in the Invincible Universe that deserve some face time.

That could be a fun idea. And a good way to get some hungry unknown up and coming creators (like Drawer on the Image boards) to contribute to the Universe and get some exposure.
