Kind of a gamble putting a dream sequence at the center of this new promotion.
Somewhere, a nerd cries. I feel nothing.
It's worth noting that the action figure of this Batman costume is called "Knightmare Batman," so I think this is more than likely a dream sequence. I'm also betting it's likely where we're going to see the Aquaman and Flash cameos without having them shoehorned into the main plot.
Anyway, this was brief (feel bad for the people who sat through an episode of Gotham for it), but Cavill and Affleck look totally boss. Cavill looks intimidating as hell here. If this isn't a dream sequence, I'm hoping he's doing double duty as pre-deteriorating Bizarro.
Except for the previous trailers, which made it clear that Batman is the aggressor and showed Superman saving people...
I'm pretty sure the guy in the Superman costume is either not really Superman or it's Superman being controlled by Luthor.
I doubt it's a dream sequence, because I can't imagine Batman dreaming about being defeated and taken prisoner or Superman dreaming about a bunch of armed commandos kneeling at his feet like he's the messiah.

It's either a Bruce nightmare sequence or Supes is just playing along for the S-Men or whatever they're called who worship him and have offered up Batman as a sacrifice to their alien god.

Having said that, they're both good guys who are being manipulated against each other. We know everything works out in the end, so why sweat it?
Also, the costume for desert Batman is called "Knightmare Batman" on all the merchandise. So we know this is a dream. A bad dream.
Superman seems like a threat, no one knows how much he's capable of and that scare humans. It's pretty basic and not really besmirching Superman. This "vs" movie makes more sense and is something they two can get out of easier than Civil War. I don't see how Steve and Tony can ever work together again after than trailer, Tony's trying to kill Steve's friend then whining he used to be friends with Steve like that validates what he's doing.
Supes and Bats are just having one big misunderstanding after being manipulated, then Diana invites them to join her in forming the JLA
So it appears superman is pro registration
