Gehenna Project 1: The Lone Plain and the Past Remains.

[Cleric of Hell’s Brigade]

The large campus seemed eerily empty as the students arrived at the attended time. It was to be the first day of their time at Hades Academy, and from the looks of the place, Hades was in a bad way. Outside of the main building before them, the majority of the out buildings around the main one seemed rundown or boards up.

Though to be fair, the grounds had been well maintained despite that.

The Academy was located on Avalon, hidden far into the 'back' of the Ark-City. Surrounding the place was a large forest, a luxury most didn't have, and it served the purpose of isolating the Academy from the rest of the world. The fact that the Head master could afford the forested property, but couldn't maintain the out buildings, left an odd situation for the students to consider.



You all begin your first day in front of the building, waiting for the Head master to show up. Talk amongst yourselves (no fighting or antagonizing just yet) and have fun.

[The Dog]

Raven watched the vehicle that had brought her to the Hades academy drive away before turning to the main building that made up the school for Espers. Looking away from the main building, she cast a wary eye over the other buildings, a small shiver of running up her spine at the rundown buildings.

"Oh no, this is a horror movie and you're gonna get stabbed by a man in a mask." came a voice from her forearm, causing Raven to lift her arm and look st the screen on the band there, revealing a long pink-haired girl shivering in fear.

"I don't think there's a man in a mask waiting to stab me, Turing." Raven said, and the girl on the screen 'looked' at her and said "That's what they always say before the man in the mask shows up and they get stabbed! Do you wanna get stabbed Raven? Cause I don't want you to get stabbed!"

"You're being ridiculous, Turing. This is an accredited school for Espers, so I'm certain there's no man in a mask waiting to stab me. So calm down, I need to go meet and get to know some of my fellow classmates." Raven said, looking around for any of her future classmates and possibly friends.

Overhead, a small personal aircraft made a circle of the Campus.



Finding a safe place to land, Flip switched to anti-grav hover and gently lowered the craft to a safe landing. Once it had landed, he grabbed his bag from the storage compartment, disengaged the airshield, and hopped out onto the ground. The plane then automatically secured its self.

Walking casually, yet confidently, he made his way to the campus building.

Kenpachi with Darios and Lilly were there. First time in Avalon as they had walked there. No fancy craft to drop them off. After the trip there were guided there. As Ken felt as safe as can be.


Darios: This the place huh? Got a bad feeling about it.


Lily: Oh hush you. :As she and Kenpachi kiss.:

:Afterwards they stop and Ken looks to the place.: I wonder where the others are.


Ken: Oh.. : Sees the craft with Raven and Flip. He just swallows hard.: I am such a wuss.


Lily: Non sense, you got Darios on backup and I would not agree to marry a weakling. You will go far. I will try to keep in touch with you.


Darios: Take it easy sis. Now lover boy. I escort you to place and you just call okay? I am sure your pets will be stronger than me. But still, your my friend.


Ken: Thanks man. -Bro fist and they walk to Hades academy. Soon enough Ken spoke.

" Hello fellow students"

A flying car flew down from the skies above and down to the ground. The side doors opened and a small girl with black clothes and some bags in her hands exited the vehicle. "Thanks for the ride! Don't worry, I'll be sure to call mom!" Rose smiled and levitated herself a few feet into the air and away from the car before touching down on solid ground. "Hellooooo classmates!"

A charcoal black hoverbike sped down the path toward Hades Academy. Its rider didn't care one whit about whether someone had to jump out of his way. It wasn't like anyone was there anyway, so that only gave him another reason not to care.

"Tsh. What a fucking dump," he muttered under his breath. The only reason he was there to begin with was because he got tired of hearing his dad piss and moan about him not doing anything with his life. He totally was; it just wasn't what he wanted him to be doing. Carter would have been just fine hanging out with his friends at the warehouse, but nope, his man wouldn't stop with the ' You should be doing something with your life, son!' and 'Waaaugh! Don't grow up to be a nobody like me!!!'. Man, parents were a pain in the ass.

Oh look. There were other people already there. He supposed he should probably stop and talk with them. His bike slowed to a halt several yards away from them, after which he slid the kickstand down and got off. Grabbing his bag, he walked over toward them.

He could say something to them. He should, since these were to be his classmates for the foreseeable future.

Carter found a tree and sat down against it. It was such a nice day out; why ruin it with a pointless conversation.

A white hovercar bearing the Geneticorp Seal alighted near the grounds of Hades Academy. Before it touched down, a young man, sporting a gray business suit with a blue tie. Curtis, not having known whether the academy had a sort of dress code or not (nothing on the website specified as much), he figured his parents would've wanted him to make a good first impression. Though, a glance at his fellow students would tell him that he was perhaps a bit overdressed.

Taking his bags from the car and said thanks to his drivers before they took off. Now left with the odd sight of the school in such disrepair set in such a scenic location, he thought that was as good a topic as any to strike up a conversation with his fellow classmates. If he was going to learn how to work with them might as well get to know them, after all.

"That...is a pale shadow of the picture on the website, I have to say," Curtis began, approaching the others carrying his bags and dropping them down on the grounds once he'd found a good enough place to set them.

Edmund looked at the address he'd written down, then at the matching address on a nearby sign, then at all the young people gathering at the front gate and then finally at the dilapidated school itself.

"Oh dear. That doesn't look good." He muttered to himself and for the briefest of moments, with the weight of his overpacked bags still pressing down on him, having to wake up early and get to Avalon alone since his parents refused to open their inn any later than usual and the quite sorry of his chosen school now being apparent, Edmund wondered if maybe he should just turn back and continue the nice and quiet life of an esper innkeeper.

Once the moment had passed he let his bags fall to the ground and slapped himself awake with both hands. "Bah, it's not that bad really. It just needs a little TLC and then it'll be the talk of the town. Yeah, this is where the adventure starts." He grinned at thoughts of all the exciting stuff he imagined were going to happen. "Best day ever."

He picked up his bags, took a step forward and in his still semi-tired state he fumbled with his feet and fell face first to the ground. He picked himself up again and grumbled. "Still the best day ever."

"Hey, it's great to meet you both. Yeah, I thought it was telekinesis at first, but after some testing, they out that I was actually a budding gravitokinetic. How about you guys?"

Edmund turned to the older girl, grinned, ignored his own embarrassed blush and rambled. "Oh yes, no need to worry. I'm just a bit tired and my face hurts a little. But it's quite alright. Thanks for asking. How are you?"

Smiling back, Raven said "I am doing just fine, thank you for asking. My name is Raven Williams, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"And I'm Turing!" came from Raven's wrist, and with a soft smile Raven lifted her arm, revealing the screen on her forearm with a smiling, waving pink-haired girl there.

"This is Turing, my personal AI assistant."
