The Hades Academy students quickly have their overwhelmed the two men. With Flip exploding the lights and electrical systems around them, Rose keeping them pinned, and Carter and Kenpachi landing devastating physical attacks, the two quickly fall unconscious. Curtis, with his healing powers, quickly makes sure they will survive but remain knocked out.

"Nowhere we can really run to, now is there?" Mayumi commented back. "So's ... best fire up that confidence aura thingie or what have you. Runnin's only gonna get us so far." True, if this thing was beyond Silver they were probably fucked. True, she was covered in some pretty nasty stuff from whatever it was this was- an illusion, real life, she wasn't psychic- but she wasn't too keen on dying here. Even less keen on running, getting tired, and THEN dying.

A cracking sound rings in their ears, and for a moment, Mayumi and Silver see a young man holding a strange rod appear. He snaps the rod around and slams it into the ground at them, shocking them backwards. As they fly backwards, the boy spins around and cracks the rod to the ground again just as a behemoth of a creature whelms upward out of the growth towards him.

Mayumi and Silver slam into an empty bookcase in the same room they had left from, landing in a heap on the ground. There is no evidence of the place they had been, the wicked voice, or the young man.

Giving herself a few moments to recover, Mayumi finally let out a pained chuckle before addressing Silver, "So ... as far as dates go, that sucked. More importantly though ... we've seen that boy before haven't we ? Fought the Wolfman. Or someone else with an affinity for battle sticks."

" We need to find the others." Has minions tow the defeated duo. " Wonder their luck. Now may have our swim suit vacation."

"Once we find Ms. Silver and Mayumi we can properly interrogate these guys. So, do we take them with us? Or do we split up, half stay here and the others continue looking for the Headmaster?" Flip spoke as he approached the the others, "Volunteers?"

Silver and Mayumi stumble out of the room they'd been in, a few doors down from where the rest of the group is now.

"The man with the rod, we saw him at the bombing site earlier, Mayumi." Silver gasps out, catching her breathe from their fight. She doesn't notice the others yet.

Silver and Mayumi stumble out of the room they'd been in, a few doors down from where the rest of the group is now.

Looking them up and down, "What happened to you?" Flip then shook his head once then walked over to them, "For someplace that is supposed to be deserted, this place is crawling with rats."

Silver straightens up and moves toward the group, eyes narrowed at the two captives. Green ichor and sap drip from her fingertips, which they can see are extended into their metal claws. She grabs one and uses a localized fear aura on him to make him talk. The man, the illusionist, wakes up and takes one look at Silver before he starts crying and confessing, his voice terrified.

He tells the group that he and his partner ran the owner out via shady business deals, shut the place down, and used their powers to make it seem haunted so no one would investigate the going one, and those that did would be too terrified to continue. Turns out they were running an illegal drug operation in the basement, which the group can find once they take the key off him.
