Seems kind of odd to me that Reed, indeed the entire FF as opposed to just the Thing, does not seem to have a large role in this.

Lol, these pages intrigue me...what does he see?!

As for this event I think it's has gotten off to a VERY strong start.
The fact that its a Murder Mystery as well as a point of revelation for several Key characters in the MU I'd imagine that even if some of it does fall flat there is bound to be SOME "win" mixed in there.

    I'm on board!

How many pages might this be? It's $4.99 so I assume it's more than the standard 20.

Which will be needed since there seems to be five different teams to give some proper build-up.

No. It was a watered down version of Annihilation. The villains and half the heroes were horribly underutilized, the building up of the "Avengers Worlds" concept was forced and the ending to both fronts was anti-climactic.

Looking forward to reading this first issue after reading the 0 issue. I do wonder what he saw that got him killed. Felt kinda bad for him that he was able to see his own death coming.

Oh, god, so excited for this. Hopefully, this will be the first Marvel event I follow to completion in a loooooooong while. Last one I finished was Fear Itself . I also tried Age of Ultron for a while.....that didn't go as planned.

What If? was one of the first comics I started reading when I originally got into Marvel, and I always loved the Watcher as a character. I am quite looking forward to see how this story plays out.

This might be good, but then again it's never a good idea to have much faith in Marvel events.

At least someone is investigating this death unlike that of the Living Tribunal.

If no one replaces Uatu, does that mean there should be no longer the omniscient narrator of 616 stories?

There are other Watchers, including his wife.

Dang it, that baby is gonna grow up without a daddy. We're going to have a future Watcher with Daddy Issues. *shudder*
