Possibly. Since the "Atari" franchise?! isn't owned by either DC or Dynamite, there may very well have been rights issues which prevented these reprints. If so, too bad.

However, while copyright issues are understandable when it comes to titles like AF, why have so many other DC titles not been reprinted - when DC owns the characters outright?!

For example, you would think the '80's series Firestorm, the Nuclear Man would be a no-brainer for reprints these days, given the character's inclusion on the great TV series Legends of Tomorrow. Granted, the LOT Firestorm incarnation is a different version than he was in the '80's, but it's still roughly the same character.

And, Jonah Hex recently showed up in a couple of episodes of LOT as well. Plus, there was a Jonah Hex film a while back as well (sure, it sucked - but that's beside the point). In other words, you would think this may generate interest in color reprints as well. But, we still haven't seen any.

Ironically, I liked DC's '80's series much more than Marvel's '80's series. However, Marvel is light-years ahead of DC when it comes to their reprint program. DC needs to look at Marvel and take some pointers from them re: the way they're handling reprints. DC has a plethora of great series that deserve reprinting, but we've only seen a small fraction of them - in color. Go figure.

Yes exactly. I was so pleased they released the Black Lightning trade when they did. I'd really enjoy the Firestorm series. A lot of the Jonah Hex trades are out of print too, the ones that were released (more recent runs anyway)

Don't even get me started on wanting an Amethyst run...

Hi! Did DC ever actually release the Adam Strange: The Silver Age #1 TPB? It was slated for release in november '16 and I had it pre-ordered in August but I now realize I never got it (I buy alot of comics...).

I'm talking about this one. It's listed a sold out or unavailable everywhere. Did DC cancel this title and opted to first release the big omnibus in July '17?

Bad news. DC is cancelling it's Justice League International: Breakdowns collection as well as the Green Lantern: Hal Jordan Vol 2. I'm guessing they're cancelled because of the Gerard Jones arrest.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography. There's a thread in the DC forum that discusses it.

I don't mind the cancelling the Green Lantern so much. But I wish the JLI collection wasn't cancelled. He was less involved in that (scripting JLE over Giffen's plots vs. Full writer for Green Lantern).
