The main question is, are they worth reading?

Yes, it's good stuff. But it's not mandatory to read them all in this reading order. So, you can read e.g. War Games 1+2 or Murderer/Fugitive on its own. NML is an epic, big storyline but you don't have to read it all to understand the following books.

Legacy-Contagion-Cataclysm-NML are all really good, as is Under the Red hood, I'm not a big fan of Murder/Fugitive (IMO it depends on how well you enjoy Batman as "Bat-Jerk"). War Games is alright, some good stuff but some not so great stuff either

And that's where DC is shooting themselves in the foot by canceling these collections before the series is completed. Obviously they don't think they're selling well enough to continue, so they cancel, which makes readers wary of starting something new, which leads to low sales, which......

    It's a vicious cycle.

Volume 18 is slated for January 2018 and gets us to issue 218. If the remaining 82 issues are collected at 16 per volume... 6 more trades. At he frequency, maybe January 2020 sees the last trade.

Don't get excited until you actually see it in stores. DC has a history of breaking our hearts with their cancellations.

JSA Book 1 is scheduled for later this year. It hasn't been formally solicited yet, but it's in DC's latest bookstore catalogue.

No sign of anything for Green Lantern yet, but it's surely only a matter of time.
