I wouldn't get my hopes up for MJ appearing in this issue sadly
In fact, I'm now very concerned that the addition of spoilers:end of spoilers will greatly minimize MJ's role even as a confidant to Peter
Teresa Parker
So much for all that MJ promotion .
I guess we'll just have to rely on Renew Your Vows for our MJ fix...
RYV. A Godsend. Its so good, why can't it be canon. Its more genuine than what's actually going on in the canon. Damn Marvel and their Earth 616 is more important indoctrination. While I enjoy RYV extensively, I and pretty much every reader out there has been condition to prioritize main canon titles above all else.
RYV for canon people. Mary Jane fix. Spider Marriage fix. Better Spidey fix.
I know this is probably a long-ass shot, but it's worth noting the ''beloved marvel mainstay'' returning in Marvel Legacy is apparently not connected to the Fantastic Four
So that leaves the marriage [again, not blooming likely], classic Wolverine, Classic Banner, Classic Tony...Classic Jean? [throwing you a bone there Unknown]

They haven't revealed their source, which I suspect is the September solicits. If so, that just means they're not back that month. Not that they won't be back at all. I can see new Legacy books launching until at least January, relaunches are usually staggered, not all at once.
I'm a little lost. I saw the covers for this issue:
"Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #1 J. Scott Campbell"
Cover A has Spidey alone.
Cover B has MJ.
Cover C has Black Cat.
But I think someone posted another version of the cover around here. That version had Spidey with Gwen Stacy, I think. Can somebody please upload it again?
For the recent 'Avengers #8' Campbell made some Superhero MJ variants which 3 of them can be brought on his store site. A fourth one however which is Campbell's MJ Vision variant can only be brought at conventions. The same might apply for this Gwen Variant.
I know this might look morbid for some but I would love to have a Campbell cover of Peter and MJ swinging or other like those recent variants he made and just above them flying close enough to be part of the group is Gwen as a ghost/angel. The idea being not focusing on the fact that she is dead but that even after death Gwen is apart of their lives, guards, and watches over them (so she doesn't look sad or scary but happy flying following the two). Part of this idea came inspired by the recent Pixar's CoCo trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlnPHQ3TLX8
The beginning (0-0:20 area) had me remembering 'Spider-man: Blue' and it's beginning when Peter tosses a rose over the bridge where Gwen dies and imaging Gwen's ghost hearten by the rose tribute/gift yet 'blue' by empathy for Peter reaching to the spirit rose manifesting itself to her as it falls.
