    Yep, I do find it weird though that Marvel's editor in chief said MJ would go through big developments yet nothing happens with her. We know 801 is just a one shot issue where nothing big happens and is more so just a tribute to the character, so I guess we gotta wait for Spencer.

    I just want to point out that it's really weird to me how people act like Mary Jane didn't have any presence until Romita first drew her in the book. She had a pretty sizable presence in the Ditko run even though she was always off-panel.

    I remenber that she does appear in one issue, with her face covered by a plant , but i might remenbering Romita's run instead of Dikto.

    I never said I completely believed it. I was just having fun. To be honest, if the Marvel Office had treated the character with any degree of respect the past decade I would have dismissed the claim out of hand without a second thought.
