Turns out the many megacorps taking part in the Kengan matches were only doing so because, well, their fighters didn't make Tokugawa's cut(could easily be the case, too since the whole series seems to be placed one step below the Bakiverse when it comes to the corporate side of things...)

Also seems that the Japanese government got hold of the Berserker tech from the hot springs incident, and is farming it out to civilian companies for reasons of plausible deniability(which can tie in with the latest translated arc of Tetsuwan Birdy...)

Well, deniable to humans, anyway.

Because when the galaxy-spanning Federation decides it wants it tech back, they send an Altan supersoldier to get it.

Being the fighting mad old men they are, Tokugawa and Metsudo agree to return the tech, and cooperate in all the research being destroyed, if the Federation representative can get through all their chosen fighters...in an underground tournament!

What happens next is outright hilarity, when a skinny woman asks them to "just send everybody all at once" to Ganryu Island... and everybody ends up fighting each other over who gets to the evacuation boats after they make first contact(which doesn't go well for anybody, except the ones who managed to escape...)

Which Birdy already wrecked by accidentally landing her ship on them at the beginning.

*Cue Yujiro and Kanoh KO'd and mostly buried in a cliff face, several hundred feet up*

Bullseye is getting superstomped here. Put Spidey in instead of Daredevil in pretty much any of the Daredevil/Bullseye fights from season 3 and Bullseye eats it.

EDIT: And I'm doing this because while he's a great re-invention of the character and a really engaging villain, he's also a piece of **** psycho who murdered tons of people. So yeah.
