Default "Black Widow," "Avengers: Standoff" & More in Marvel's March 2016 Solicitations

I'm all for Avengers Standoff and Apocalypse Wars. I'm sure those events will be just fine. But the only comic I really care about getting in March is X-men 92. Given the current state of X-men and mutants in general, it might be the only X-men series that actually feels like an X-men series for the foreseeable future. It's sad, but I'd rather have one awesome X-men series than a bunch of crappy ones.

Okay, some stuff I'm excited about in there...

    - Extraordinary X-men
    - Old Man Logan
    - All New X-men
    - All New Wolverine (my daughter loves this book!)
    - Uncanny X-men
    - Uncanny Avengers
    - All New, All Different Avengers (UA guest-appearance)
    - Deadpool
    - Deadpool/Spider-man
    - Amazing Spider-man
    - Spider-man
    - Totally Awesome Hulk (my son loves this book!)
    - X-men '92 (will give this a shot)

More Marvel output than I've bought in quite awhile.

The choice of Cap's 75th Anniversary cover is quite hilarous.
With Steve being punched by Captain America the same way he punches Hitler on that iconic 1941 cover.

Wait....Mockingbird, International Iron Man and Black Widow, which were announced last month or so, get launched in March and Black Panther and Moon Knight, which were announced around October are still nowhere to be found? Man, that's some Grade-A BS... I mean, I'm happy for the BW/MB/IM fans but come on!

There's some great (albeit overpriced) collections coming up!

Between the Avengers by Byrne omnibus and the upcoming Death of Mockingbird trade, I believe that will complete the entire 102 issue run of West Coast Avengers! And yes I'm aware no one else is excited by that...

Yeah I have no idea what they're doing with Black Panther. Pretty sure they said Coates is speeding ahead on the writing side of things, so unless there's a serious problem with the art it should have launched by now.

No no no no sorry I love your love for Moon Knight and Black Panther but sorry you don't get to complain about a late book when just as important characters don't even get to appear in a team book. ._.

Still though, I adore your love and totally understand why you're frustrated. But please, there are always those who are in a worse situation :P

I feel like they want the series to have a low issue count by the time of Captain America: Civil War so it's easier to jump onto. Coates writing ahead also means you don't mess up what's probably going to be a high profile series.
Favourite characters: Wally West, Dick Grayson, Cassandra Cain, Cyclops, Jay Garrick, Jamie Madrox, Stargirl, Bucky Barnes, Magik, Jon Kent, Kate Bishop, Booster Gold

    Regular pulls:
Adventureman, Cable, Fire Power, Green Lantern, Hellions, New Mutants, Thor, Vampire: The Masquerade, Venom, X-Factor, X-Men

Trade-waiting: Animosity, Black Panther, Captain America, Catwoman, Conan, Daredevil, DCeased, Detective Comics, Hawkman, Immortal Hulk, Redneck, Saga, Skyward, Snotgirl, X-Force

Or the Coates has a lot of work outside of Marvel. He isn't really an exclusive Comic book writer after all. I get the feeling this is more like fun time from him when it comes to BP.
