Of course she survives. Does anyone remember het 191 story? There they used her power to full potential. If they make her a villain as powerful as then, I wouldt mind. Though they must give her a very very good reason to become an enemy.

Yep. That's why I'm hoping for mind control. There's no good reason for her to go Evil like she did in X-Force 86-90. Then she at least though she had been lied to about her name and history. Now? No reason outside of Mind Control. IMO.

I think so. Last time we saw him was in Fraction's Uncanny X-Men run. He was on Utopia but now he's probably just roaming the streets.

I remember some strain between Illyana and him through the CC/Guice run, a deep initial mistrust from Berto towards her that somehow was resolved by Sunspot's natural inclination to help. But Magik is not precisely a forgotten character, though.
