I do like how it seems to be taking inspiration for the look of things from the cartoon. Still having a hard time caring since it feels so gimmicky, but I've been more interested since seeing them than I was before.

They appear to be borrowing elements from the RGB cartoon as well as the RPG. Time will tell. I want a trailer!

I'm really hoping the proton gun (if that's what it is) can be connected to the proton pack, and that it's a nod to Winston's IDW pack. I'm not holding out hope, but it was a cool addition for Winston. And the producers have really impressed me with their level of research so far, even going back to Aykroyd's pre-production GB1 notes for inspiration, though there's nothing to indicate that they're looking at the comics or EU for any inspiration so far.
