I still haven't made up list, but I'm going to post this one, because it was so striking and different in my very young memory. I now know there were other photo montage covers before this, but this was the first one I'd seen. Using a photo of a real place made the comic seem a bit more ... like the world outside my window.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

Some great covers guys - there are some amazing variants out there of the newer stuff! My fave cover ever is probably UXM #101 (Phoenix rising) but here are some other of the more recent stuff :
