Flashpoint Reading Order

Hey guys just wanted some opinions on reading Flashpoint in single issue form. I would like only the kind of bare minimum for the tie ins. Like if I were to recommend Forever Evil to someone I would say FE 1-7 and just the Justice League Tie Ins, not the Arkham War or JLD kinf of tie ins. Also is Flashpoint what led to the New 52? Thanks for your input.

Flashpoint #1-5. You don't need any tie-ins.

Yes, it's what created the New52.

And if you really want to know about the "creation" of the New 52, you only need the last few pages of Flashpoint #5. The rest of the series really has no connection to the New 52 whatsoever, and even those last few pages aren't much beyond "Ooops, we need to change some things . . . "
