Default Batman Bruce Wayne Murderer story line

I'm wondering if should buy the trade while it's on sale digitally so the Nightwing issues make sense when I get to them or can I just read the Nightwing issues as stand alone stories (what I would prefer honestly)

It's a pretty bad story. I'd skip it.

    I like Murderer and Fugitive.

I can't remember enough of the individual issues, to be sure if the Nightwing stuff reads fine on its own, though.
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)

It's my second favourite Batman event ever, after No Man's Land.

It's Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka. Like all events it's a bit too long and drags a bit in the middle, but otherwise it's great.

    It's their worst work.

They definitely have made better things, but it's still some of their best work-for-hire Marvel/DC stuff.

Not being as good as Gotham Central or Winter Soldier doesn't make something bad.

The story suffers because the rest of Brubaker's and Rucka's run has not been collected. It is the crescendo of their run, and their is no way to read the beginning and middle unless you have the floppys.

Brubaker's part will be collected soon. Carabas is right.
