I personally greatly prefer reading comics on Comixology to reading them on the Kindle app. It's a much better reader.

Comixology has many more comics available, and uses their own viewing app or web browser.

What device do you plan to read comics on?
I got a tablet the Hudl and I was going to use that with a Kindle app, do you think that when it comes to trades not single comics that there will be much difference cause to be fair I have a amazon account setup but I suppose I could always just switch but I'm not that interested in singles and I do kinda what to pick one and stick with it.

As long as Comixology exists, there is no reason to use the kindle app for comics.

The Amazon app is even worse than Dark Horse's app. That's saying a lot. Use Comixology. It's free; there's no reason not to. Especially now that most sales are the same on Amazon and Comixology.
Hope is not lost today. It is found.

Another thing is that, with sales and bundles, it's often cheaper to buy digital singles than digital collections. Sometimes the first issue will even be a freebie

Another sale on Uber from Avatar. This series is now complete, all 29 singles are at $.99 each, and there is a $19.99 bundle. I should have waited for the bundle. Sale ends 10/18/15.

New sale from IDW on comics related to games; 18 collections for $2.99 to $5.99, ends 10/19/15, includes things like Dungeons & Dragons, Angry Birds, and Silent Hill.

The weeklong sale from DC is a great one; collections of a bunch of great Vertigo titles like Preacher, 100 Bullets, Hellblazer, Transmetropolitan, Y the Last Man, and American Vampire. They call it their Vertigo 101 sale and it ends 10/19/15. I guess I need to pick up some overtime; 101 $4.99 collections of some of the best that comic books have to offer.

iTunes cards are always on sale somewhere, at least 15% but often 20 or even 25%. Staples, Best Buy, Target, PayPal/ebay, and several other stores have recurring sales.

Then you can use those cards in the DC and Marvel (and a few other company) apps.
