Astro City.
I used to love Astro City but lately, I found it to be slow and plodding.
The Goon - greatest comic ever.
Daredevil is a good call, even in the dark times between writers, the rest of the time it is simply amazing.
Would it count if I just said whatever Brubaker and Phillips create for Image?
I would love to say this also, but there is not any more Hellboy. There is BPRD and Hellboy In Hell, both appear to be ones you will have no knowledge of.

Hmm...If I understand the premise of this thread, I would get one ongoing series with no knowledge of any other stories featuring the lead characters in my book of choice. With that, I'd probably pick something with a long history. Probably Action Comics or Superman.
Hope is not lost today. It is found.
The prevailing X-Men title among the others.
Of course I've heard of B.P.R.D. I'm just trying to stick to one title, like the OP wanted. And I consider Hellboy in Hell to be the continuing adventures of Hellboy, he's just dead is all. Similarly, you don't appear to be aware that there is not any more B.P.R.D., there is B.P.R.D.: Hell on Earth.
Fantastic Four... or Action Comics.
THE WALKING DEAD- No don't care that it crawls like a new ice age. It's the only book I buy without hesitation. Anything HELLBOY related is a verrrrry close second.
The Goon is just wonderful work. Love it.
Savage Dragon
It's nice to see all the Savage Dragon love. I'm throwing my vote behind Larsen as well. Dragon and Chew are my two faves right now.
