I need help with lady death!

Alright so the first comic book I plan to buy is the very first comic book every produced by " Avatar Press " for the " Classic " lady death.


I keep looking and am having a hard time finding the first comic for the first series by them, mainly because I know absolutely nothing about comics.

Strange place to start (this coming from a fairly big LD fan).

The first storyline for Classic Lady Death by Avatar was Abandon All Hope (4 issues, + 1/2 issue one-shot prequel.) This story, plus The Wicked storyline, is collected in Lady Death: Origins trade paperback.


If you're new then I have to ask, are you aware Lady Death was first published by the now bankrupt Chaos! Comics?
