Bruce adopted Cass in the Old 52.
Bruce adopted Cass in the Old 52.
He probably will too in this new continuity, once he's back.
For what? once snyder leaves i doubt that there will be writters with interest inwritting him, he have characters just like him (Tim Drake) or better (Damian Wayne) already, he's only being used right now because Snyder made him, once he leaves Batman, Duke is likely to go to limbo.
Oh yeah! in 2006 her 73-issue-long solo-book that was selling 30K on average got cancelled due to editorial madate, and after her mini finished in 2008 she got benched so that lamer characters that apparently are fan-favourites amoung the dc editorial could shine more, and a 4 years later, KABOM!! Flashpoint happened because sales were awesome...and now we have Babs humilliating the Batgirl mantle, awesome! right?
Pre flashpoint: Depending on the source Dick was between 8 and 12 (but 12 is the most common version), Jason was also at best 12 (I have also seen 9 somewhere) and Tim was defnitally 13, when they started.
Cass was 18 or 19 when Bruce adopted her and she was already 16 or 17 when she became Batgirl. That counts hardly as "little Girl". And Barbara Gordon had probably more to do with "raising" Cass than Bruce.
Because the writers/artists love making all the Robins look the same too much. Black hair, blue eyes male only allowed.
I would rather have had Batman raised by a little girl (or little girls).
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)
Its not just her boots, its the entire out-fit, its the entire art in general, its the social networks, the texting, etc, neither of that suits Barbara's Gordon character at all, which should be darker imo
Babs deserve better than this, the batgirl mantle itself deserves better than this, Gail's simone's run wasn't perfect, but it was stellar compared to this one.
