    Default DoFP Reading Order?

Hey guys so I'm pretty new to comics and have only been reading a little over a year. Just wondering I can't seem to find a good reading order for Days of Future Past if I were to collect them in single issues. What do you guys personally recommend to read, and does anyone know the order that the hardcover comes in? Thanks.

    #141 and #142.

    The TPB comes is...

    UNCANNY X-MEN (1963) #138-143 and X-MEN ANNUAL #4.

DofP is from time when you could get a full story in just a couple issues and writers didn't need 6 issues to tell one small story. (I'm looking at you Bendis!)

So you guys think just 141 and 142 are enough to get the story?

It's all the story is. No need to read anything else.

You can read #66 and #67 of Excalibur also if you want more of the DOFP timeline. But you don't really need to read them.

It would most definitely be much longer than any 2 issue story these days.

BOTA was 16 issues? Homaging it? And it had less story.

There is also Days of Future Present, which I would pass on but it was the first revisit to the timeline

Wrong! Days of Futures Past was #141 and #142 only... And, I have to assume you meant X-Men Annual #14 (X-Men Annual #4 was "Nightcrawler’s Inferno"), which was not Days of Futures Past! UX-Men #14 was Days of Future Present!

Also, Excalibur #66 (Back to the Present) and #67 (Days of Futures Yet to Come) had nothing to do with "Days of Future Past" as they were altogether different timelines.

There was no revisit to that timeline... "Days of Future Present" was completely set in the 616 timeline. BTW, you might as well mention "Days of Future Now", too...

Nimrod followed Rachel before the. Basically UXM 184-209. I don't understand how anyone can pass up JRjr and Silvestri runs, those were the best!

LOL. I know those have nothing to do with it. It's whats in the TPB. He asked what comes in the hardcover. And from all the websites i see, whats in the TPB is also in the hardcover.

No, DOFYTC was Rachel (with Excalibur) returning to Earth 811. Rachel stopped the Sentinels by rewriting their programming or something, but it was her original timeline.

Part of DOFPresent took place on Earth 811 too, where Ahab was. He followed Rachel & Nimrod's trail to 616.
