    Default The Unanswered Questions Thread

Whether its stories in entertainment including cliffhangers and ambiguous endings, infamous unsolved crimes, unsolved mysteries in History, or vast other questions that persons still desire greatly to know the answers.

    Original Inspector Gadget Cartoon
What does Claw look like? He's never fully shown in the original cartoon.

How the hell did the Egyptians move heavy blocks to build the pyramids? The blocks are to damn heavy for a group of humans to move them, and they had no machines that could help them.

Dr. Claw's real face was revealed on an action figure. Looked like this:

There's an entire study of Egyptology that has looked into the pyramids question, and it is relatively definitively answered, although new discoveries are still being made. Any Google search that doesn't mention Ancient Aliens will give you a reliable answer.

I read that the ancient Egyptians would pour water on the sand before pulling the blocks over it, so the sand wouldn't build up and make it more difficult than it already was.

What started this line of questioning? I thought we had already studied this extensively and concluded how they built the pyramids?

Yes and no. It has been shown that they could have built the Pyramids using existing technologies. I don't think it has been concluded exactly how. But it is more a matter of did they do this or that, not that there is a mystery that they were more than capable of doing it.

And by the way, it was not done by slaves, Hebrew or otherwise. It was done by indentured workers who were housed and fed, probably farmers during the fallow months who went home to tend their fields afterward. Even "indentured" is the wrong word, since all the people lived for the Pharaoh. And also many trained tradesmen who were paid.

There were no Jewish slaves in Egypt and no great exodus, that story in the Bible is pure myth, Moses did not exist.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

What about the idea that they used a pulley and lever like system to maneuver the alabaster blocks along very steep slopes?

Some web sites claimed the unseen master criminal in Captain Marvel 11 and 12 was the Mad Thinker.

But is that just fandom deducting based on the guy's M.O. or was it actually revealed somewhere?

Is Tahooe Tessie really a sea monster?

The name Centipede means 100 and foot.
Why did a human choose the misleading name centipede for creatures?

The creatures have a varying number of legs from under 20 to over 300.

What was the answer to any of the questions from Lost. Not the bullshit last season, they are all dead. But the unanswered mysteries the show forgot about.
