I would assume its Daphne's parents since they are rich.

In real life, tons of upper class young people back then would take a life a year off from college to see the world/country or to "find themselves". Most of the time these trips would be financed by their parents. It's not far fetched to imagine cartoon characters could have a similar situation.

Mystery Incorporated is funded by rewards for catching criminals and solving crimes. It's right there in the name, "incorporated." It's a for-profit corporation.
There was a low budget live action horror movie called Saturday Mourning Massacre that came our a year or so ago where the main characters were loose analogues for the Scooby Gang and this was the exact premise...that they made money from debunking the supernatural.

"The Stranger" was a disguise that Matt would occasionally use during Frank Miller's run. Most of the time he'd go undercover to Josie's Bar looking for info related to whatever main plot that was going on. In this one, he seems to wander into the small town to find out about a murdered man. The plot is really a loose homage to the movie High Plains Drifter.

Really I doubt they could consistently do that with a great batting average.
No one was paying for water back then.

We used old milk jugs. Seriously, our well water was bad when I was a kid and we depended on neighbors for years. We filled at their taps, but we never bought a water bottle. I don't think we would've known where to buy one.

How many secrets are in the president's book of secrets if it exists?
    Where is it located?

How many places are there on Earth with real hidden treasures?

One old guy once tried to charge them for water. And he would have gotten away with it, too.

    Several.
I was asking for a exact number so no doubt it would have more than a dozen with more than 30 Presidents.
Im aware its a secret so not sure why you tell me something Ialready know.
Wow no doubt again not sure why you tell me something I already know.

    3 Ninjas
How the hell did Rocky use a unrealistic jump to dunk the basketball?
It's a serious question and please dont tell me ninja skills as those dont give a person the ability to jump high like Michael Jordan.

    Risky Business
Is Tom Cruises character not percieved as being negative or a bad guy for running a brothel because it was done for the purpose to raise money to repair his parents car?

    Is the Lockness monster real?
If not who manipulated the photo and how exactly?

    1) Ninja skills are plausible. Ninjas can raise the dead...why couldn't they dunk a basketball?

2)Risky Business is a movie from the 80's and it came out at a weird cultural time. The movie actually presents him as kinda of a hero because he got away with it, got into the school of his choice by bribing the reps with hookers, and make lots of money in the process.

3)The Loch Ness Monster is a dinosaur accidently brought to the present by a golden frog which is really time machine

I don't doubt they can dunk a basketball but a kid dunking a basketball on a hoop that is likely as high as the nba hoops is why I find it unrealistic.

It was done for a good cause in a desperate situation. I imagine desperate times calls for desperate measures is why its not made a big deal of.

I was watching Jaws the other day,

Why wouldn't the mayor of amity island shut down the beaches?! even after the little kid died?!

And he wouldn't listen to Richard Dreyfuss!
