I just wanted to do a separate thread for Boom Studios original spin-off Ranger Academy, as it’s not dealing with the Mighty Morphin storyline, at least as of yet.

The plot is very straightforward, a school has been opened by a mysterious headmaster similar to Zordon to train the next generation of Rangers, teens with attitude who by surviving the trials and tribulations will be randomly gifted a color out of the main colors Red, Yellow, Blue, Pink, and Black. AND ONLY those five, though as Ranger fans we know that can’t be true.

Our protagonist is Sage a girl who grew up on the outskirts of space and has no idea what a power ranger is, she just knows that she doesn’t want to live on a small rock anymore with her father and when the chance comes she jumps ship to join the rangers academy. The problem however is that she may be connected to the school and of course a 6th Ranger color.
