What is the most iconic Artist version of a Character?

Batman - yikes. Either Adams, Aparo, or Rogers. I'll go with Adams
JLA - Dick Dillin or Perez

Garcia Lopez could be a perfect fit for everybody.

First choice- Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez on just about any character that debuted prior to Crisis.
Second choice- Jerry Ordway for Golden Age/Earth-2 characters and George Perez for everyone else.

This sounds about right for me, with a few exceptions.
Jim Aparo's Batman will always be Batman for me (Norm Breyfogle also made quite an impression on me)..
When I think of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Dave Cockrum and Chris Sprouse are the first that spring to mind (the first, when I think of the classic version, the second when I think of the Post Zero Hour Legion, my favorite incarnation. Even Though Chris only worked on the Legion, prior to the reboot, they pretty much used all his designs).
