I prefer Vampire Jubilee, if they're doing it like they did it in the X-23 story.

My one and only complaint is the overuse of shadow in some scenes. But it’s a very minor concern.

Depends on who you ask. Plenty are, but others prefer her as a vampire. Personally I’ll take her either way. Maybe if she gets her powers back after Phoenix Resurrection she’ll also remain a vampire and have both power sets. I wouldn’t mind that at all.

Same. Vampire Jubilee has had some awesome stories focusing on her, and the X-23/Jubilee stuff was the best of it.

Jawbreaker and Dimentia5, at the end of AvX, when Phoenix/Hope/whatever was able to wish back the ability to create new mutants, it included a waitress who looked a little like Sophia suddenly floating up and immediately getting shot dead.

The reason for the confusion is that it wasn't clear at that point whether only new mutants were gaining powers or if mutants depowered as a result of "No More Mutants" would get their powers back, too. It was poorly explained at the time, but the consensus seems to be now that there were only going to be new mutants, which is why any talk by Marvel of the end of AvX "reversing" M-Day was bull-crap. A true reversal of M-Day would include bringing back all the mutants who unfortunately died as a result of it as well as repowering all the mutants who were depowered from it.

Haha, Penance hair. How does one achieve Penance hair?? Answer: Waaaaaay too much hair product. But yes, it looks cool!

That's one of my favorite early-issue images too! I didn't remember it when I first read the comics in the '90s, but when I was re-reading years later, that one really stuck out to me. <3
