After reading chapter 25 yesterday, I'm not seeing how they'll wrap it up in the next two. Just hoping there isn't an abrupt ending with hanging plot lines (like Alcipe's fate, etc.) But still, I'm thoroughly enjoying this and doing everything in my power to get book 2!

Afraid I wasn't quite enamored with the latest chapter. I thought we were racing toward the climactic showdown but we hit a speed bump with a lot of narration. Perhaps it will flow more smoothly to me when the chapters are collected.

I wasn't initially thrilled with this book especially with the mortal among the immortal angle the author sold in the beginning. But powering up Diana in the latest chapter was a nice unique take as to how Wonder Woman came to be and obtained her seeming omnipotence. I can't wait to see how this ends!

Well, I just finished reading the final chapter. Mixed emotions... It's nice to have closure, but it's sad that it's (temporarily) over. I feel like I have to let it all sink in and reflect on the whole book now. I had objections to some things, but overall I really, really liked it. Diana's decision to abandon her new friends after defeating the Manhunter was unexpected. I don't envision her as a loner, but I guess I can understand her putting their safety first.

Loved the final issue. I think I loved it more knowing that we're getting a second volume. Was especially glad to see spoilers:
end of spoilersPriscilla Rich back, with the implication that she'll become Cheetah in vol. 2.
