Really great fight scene between Thor and Mangog back during Jurgens' run. During their initial encounters, Thor used his mightiest anti-matter blasts against Mangog, without any effect:





Finally, a couple of issues later, Thor realizes that yeah Mangog is tough outside. But inside....not so much:

For those who can't tell because he has muscle definition, looks like he's made out of silver and there are no swirling flowers or ladybugs, that's the Silver Surfer getting wailed on by the Hulk. I know, I know the art is just awful, but its a big beat down he took.

Oh yes, absolutely. When Peter faced Morlun the first time, he got beaten as well. During the Amalgam crossover, Batman defeated Captain America. I just feel that in that particular moment, there was some really good butt-kicking going on.

Yes, I know, I'm stretching the parameters a bit, but I still think the scenes are pretty cool.
