    Default Anyone familiar with the Legends Of The DC Universe (1998-2001)?

    I came across this series recently:

    • Legends Of The DC Universe [41 issues, 1998-2001]

    According to Comic Vine:

    ''This was an anthology series along the lines of 'Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight" where each story was either a self contained issue or a multi-issue story; each story with a different cast and creative team; no two having anything to do with one another.''

    Only a couple of issues have been collected:

    #1-3 and #39: DC Comics Presents Superman: Sole Survivor;
    #7-9: Batman: The Ring, the Arrow and the Bat;
    #10-11: Batgirl: The Greatest Stories Ever Told;
    #14: Superman: 3-2-1 Action;
    #26-27: DC Comics Presents Brightest Day #3;
    #28-29 and #40-41: DC Comics Presents: The Atom.

    Are there any Batman/Bat-Family-related issues that anyone can recommend? It would seem like all issues related to Bats have been collected (see above, bolded), but I recently bought #6, just because it has Robin (Dick Grayson) and Superman on the cover; this issue tells the story of how Dick Grayson first met Superman. A pretty good read, so maybe there are some more interesting issues of this series?

    If your interests extend beyond Batman, there are some great reads to be found in that series. The Superman story in #1-3 is good, as is the Wonder Woman two-parter that followed in #4-5. Later on you get Hal Jordan's first story as The Spectre, with some beautiful Michael Zullli art, and an Aquaman/Joker team up that was pretty entertaining.

    There's really not a bad issue to be found, in my opinion.
