I would rather see the YJ4 myself,but it's DCs animated movie universe to mess up.

...So, we have a team that has Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Beastboy, and Cyborg... and your first thoughts are to TTG, not the original, awesome, animated Teen Titans from way back? This is a sad day, a very sad day.

And also, Blue Beetle is awesome. And he wasn't "shoved" into season two of YJ, his role evolved naturally because the people making it wanted an alien race that invaded by infiltration rather than open conquest and the Reach fit perfectly into that, and if you're using the Reach you have to use Blue Beetle.

I'm both pleased and interested, with some exceptions.
+Great to see the real group of Titans here with Cyborg on their side.
-Not so great they have to drag Damian around.
+I like the setup, should assure neither side actually coddles the other
-I am actually a tiny bit disappointed its the League that's getting brainwashed, because the evil guys usually hit harder.
+Decent designs for the Titans that didn't already have one... which is actually just Raven and possibly Starfire.
-Bleh... they are still going with YJ jumpsuit for Gar and the walking storehouse that is Cyborg.

No, the plan has pretty much always been that they would alternate between original stories, like this one, and those based on comic-stories.
