I guess Damian is recognizable to people who buy the animated movies, since he's been in Son of Batman (2014) and Batman vs Robin (2015). TPTB figured Damian might as well be in 2016 animated movie too.

That is fair. Damian was on the team for 5 minutes before leaving (TT vol 3 #89-92).

UGHHHHHHH they're still using the terrible Cyborg design from Justice League: War. What was wrong with the one they used in Justice League: Doom?

I'm interested in this, but I would much rather DC use their animated features to put out more Young Justice stories.

Batman is DC's biggest franchise so they wanted to have one of the characters from those movies be one of the leads.

Damian's also the current Robin in this continuity. It makes sense they would associate him with the Titans, beyond recognizability.

Please he is not that recognizable unless you mean Robin is recognizable.

As for Batman Rep isnt that what you have Dick for...I suppose every team needs a lancer ahole type.
