Saying you dislike someone's work is not disrespectful. Saying someone is an asshat is disrespectful. One does not equal the other.
By posting covers by a creator whose work you don't like, you are not showing the creator disrespect. By posting a cover featuring a character you don't like, you are not disrespecting comics. If you truly love something, you want it to be the best it can be, and that includes being willing to see, point out and address the things about it you don't like. Nothing in life is perfect and thinking love equals something is flawless leads to a lot of "love" ending quickly instead of being able to endure.
The ability to be honest with someone and tell them what you actually think is the greatest sign of respect, as long as it is done with tact and not as an attack.
