    Default Marvel Netflix shows

So, I've started watching Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. Krysten Ritter is great as Jessica and I love Mike Colter as Luke Cage. I hope that when/if the MCU brings these characters in these two come back as the characters. I really enjoy the connection with Luke/Jessica. Felt bad for him in the scene where it's revealed that Jessica killed his wife under Kilgrave's control. Love David Tennent in this as well. As for Iron Fist, I like it and am confused with the hate that it got when it came out. Sure, Danny doesn't wear the costume but I like his arc trying to get his company back and the action scenes are decent as well. Ward Meacham is a character that you love to hate, lol.

The first season of JJ was simply awesome. Ritter's killing it.

Danny doesn't act like Danny and his actor Finn Jones refused to train for his role and it shows in his mediocre to terrible fight scenes.

He didn't refuse to train, he wasn't given time for it.

My problem with every Marvel net flix show except maybe Jessica Jones season one is that all of them were drawn out. Even Daredevil. They had a story to tell, and said ok we are doing 13 episodes. So drag that story out as much as you can for 13 episode. Ironically the Disney Marvel shows probably all need more episodes. 8 or something like that. They feel crammed.

The thing is, there were a few moments/scenes where I think he plays a great Danny when he's more chill and light-hearted. (when he's with Luke, the last couple scenes of his show with Ward, then when he has the Chi-guns) Unfortunately, the writers kept giving him angsty scenes where he couldn't focus his chi and Jones was not good at playing that type of character.

I believe the situation is that he wasn't given enough time to really train for season one,(there's no disputing that) but there was an article where one of the trainers said that Jessica Henwick trained her butt off and was great, but that he couldn't say that about all the actors. (or something like that)

This makes the most sense to me. I follow JH on Instagram and have read interviews with her and she seems like the type to give every ounce of herself for a role, so this doesn't surprise me. It's disappointing that the show's lead didn't show that kind of dedication.
Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.
