That's an interesting format that would probably be against the way the CW usually handles shows. If Arrow and the Flash are examples to go by (being pragmatic), they would keep a solid core group , with variations of them from different times/eras. Agreed that Ray, Sara and Rip are the best characters currently on the show but I'd add Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) to that list.

Oh for sure Cold is great. I'm just anticipating he won't stick around forever. But maybe Wentworth Miller will surprise me and stay for the long haul.

I really like Cold on Legends, but I don't want Wentworth Miller to become a permanent fixture on the show.

You can't have The Rogues without Captain Cold, and since I really want to see The Rogues all together on The Flash, I hope he comes back to reoccurring status on the show and back to menacing Flash while finally building up the group .

Moreover, unless Wentworh Miller and Dominic Purcell have bought homes in Vancouver and plan to live out their lives here, I don't see them staying with the series for all that long. Especially Wentworth Miller, whose career is back on an upswing. They'll want to go to Hollywood again and pursue other options and they'll be in the PRISON BREAK sequel. So, I think in time they'll go back to recurring status on THE FLASH.

Booster Gold, Jesse Quick, the Elongated Man, Animal Man, Tomorrow Woman, Dr. Light, Black Lightning would all make good future Legends.

I am fairly certain that Prison Break is going to be a mini series so it won't be a problem. Captain Cold is the best part of this, if he leaves I may lose interest.

Another thing I forgot to mention is I like how Sara is able to maintain a character's secret identity, but Ray and Jax can't. Ray called this new Green Arrow "Oliver" right in front of everybody! And Jax quipped "Barry Allen who?" although I don't think anyone heard him and name dropping Barry to Russians in the 1980's isn't a big deal.

I think that hurt Jessica Jones for me. Every time it seemed like Jessica was about to beat Kilgrave, you knew she wouldn't because it wasn't the end of the season.

They'd have to keep Rip, at the very least, and Booster Gold is only a natural addition. I'd throw in Mr. Terrific. How would you do Dr. Light given her history on The Flash, though?

They'd better do that considering we don't even have Mirror Master yet, and he needs to team up with a villainous Captain Cold and Heatwave. The only problem I foresee is Captain Boomerang. Even if they do spring him from the island prison, considering he's in the Suicide Squad movie, they'd only do that to kill him off.

With Dr. Light it depends if the actress who plays Linda Park wants to continue with that role. But it seems to me that Dr. Light can be anyone. Although, it probably makes more sense for her/him to be a scientist.

Actually if they bring back Dr. Light on THE FLASH--either as a villain or as a hero--it ought to be in tandem with Mirror Master. It seems to me that one is the reflection of the other (groan, bad pun).

If they ever want to, I could see Flash finally doing something with that Arthur Light reference way back in Arrow season 2 and bring him in as the Earth-1 Dr. Light.

Though with the Earth-1/Earth-2 dichotomy, we'd probably get a good Dr. Light rather then an evil Dr. Light, so maybe Linda will eventually become a Superhero and a heroic Dr. Light? Even if that is kinda unfair to Kimiyo.

Oh my God, this made me realize that Captain Cold and Heatwave will now know who Green Arrow is !

I wonder about Booster...with that announcement or rumor of a "Blue and Gold movie" with Booster and Ted, which is apparently why Arrow couldn't use Ted, I wonder if that means Booster is off-limits to the TV side?

Though I am kinda waiting for a moment when Rip mentions his dad.

Yeah, Suicide Squad has put Captain Boomerang in very precarious position. He's a classic Rogue, but Suicide Squad means he likely can't ever join the group, or if he does, it'll only be a one-off.

So we might never see the full comic roster together on-screen, unfortunately .

There are likely more than one Oliver in Star City. Sure, if Captain Cold and Heatwave were that interested, they might find out that Oliver Queen was accused twice of being the Arrow (pre-Green), but I don't see them as caring that much.

I wonder if Rip has something to erase some of their memories if they find out some future history of themselves or the world that they can exploit once they return to their own time period (like Snart and Rory find out how the Flash caught them on a few robberies and avoid those mistakes or Sarah finds out how her sister or father will die and saves them when she returns to the present).

Im liking the twist of making Connor Hawke Diggle's son. And I lowkey want Grant Wilson to be a regular on Arrow now since they got rid of Deathstroke but I know thats not possible

I liked the plot line where Grant Wilson is the gang leader in that timeline

How is Kendra's 'X time ago, I was a barista' not a meme of sorts already. Oddly enough, she didn't do much in this episode, but I found her probably the most interesting here.

The beef between Heat and Cold was too good, always enjoy watching those two.

Oli's beard was overworked, it looked funny.

The tiny love like triangle was funny.

Yeah I really liked the guy who played Grant. I really hope he can somehow get brought into Arrow.

That moment when Sara brought in Oliver's bow and you could hear the Arrow theme...the feels .

So Deathstroke II turns out to actually be Slade's son, Grant, and Conner is apparently Diggle and Lyla's second son John Diggle Jr., refusing to call himself that because he doesn't feel he deserves to go by his father's name because he failed to protect the city. I wonder who taught Conner his amazing archery skills? It had to be Oliver, though I wonder if Conner was a full member of Team Arrow before the uprising? Maybe Green Arrow's third sidekick?

I guess Sara and Ray can go back to their timelines with the knowledge that Slade has a son planning to exact revenge against Oliver Queen for what he did to his father and make sure this future never happens. So no uprising, no Oliver getting outed as Green Arrow, and Team Arrow remains intact.

Though why the heck did Grant's Deathstroke mask have only one eyehole like his dad? He has two perfectly good eyes.

And we get to see the exact reason Superheroes keep secret identities. The moment Oliver is revealed as Green Arrow, the Arrowcave is trashed and Team Arrow is forced to spread out before they're all killed save Ollie .

Though you have to wonder, with how crazy things got in Star City and with Oliver losing friends and family left and right, where was The Flash? You'd think Barry would've come in and help out his friends, especially his Superhero buddy, once he learned what was happening. Or is this future going with the idea that The Flash eventually vanishes after the "Crisis" in 2024?

It was kinda cute seeing Ray and Jax both dealing with being attracted to Kendra, with Stein in the middle fumbling about, though it kind of felt in bad taste given it's only been a few days (I think) since she lost Carter, which was obviously part of the reason she shot down getting drinks with Ray. Though, personally, I'd been wondering whether they might pair Ray and Kendra together ever since he showed so much concern for her after she'd been stabbed and then saved her...and if they'd use that pairing as a weird kind of reference to Ray and Carter's friendship in the comics.

And is it just me, or does it seem like there's a real growing spark or bond developing between Sara and Rip? Though I'm perfectly fine with it being just platonic, and obviously Rip is still primarily concerned with saving his family which includes his wife, but it feels like these two are really connecting and working well together and have had integral roles in each other's respective character development. I also think they have some nice chemistry.

We also have our first major conflict between Cold and Heat Wave, as we see Snart cares more about the team and the mission then he's previously let on and Mick is starting to realize how much the mission is changing them and that he can't even trust his partner anymore. And I doubt Snart would ever use the term "friends" lightly, especially when before this series Mick was the closest thing he had to one aside from Lisa.

Wow, I guess in old age eventually Ollie's voice just gets stuck in Arrow mode, though I assume the weariness and fatigue over what happened probably helped. And, honestly, I think Amell pulled off the goatee and older Oliver quite well. And at least we can finally say we saw Green Arrow with his goatee in this episode. And he proved he's still got it even in old age.

Fitting that Conner helped Oliver beat Grant using a bola arrow, the same way Oliver beat Slade in their last fight in season 2 .

And even if this future doesn't end up coming to pass, at least the team left things in Star City with a little more hope, as Oliver takes up the bow again and Conner becomes his partner as they set out to save Star City once again. Star City now has two Green Arrows determined to protect it.

Wow, I certainly was not expecting this much Green Arrow mythology on "Legends." The moment Oliver appeared I went "Oh my god, it's the Oliver from 'Dark Knight Returns'!" And I thought Amell really nailed it, playing a 60-something year old version of himself. He was more like comic book Ollie than ever before. But this definitely was not the use of the name Connor Hawke I was hoping to eventually see. John Diggle Jr. just makes up that name out of thin air to call himself because it sounds cool? We will probably never hear that name again now.

A moment that made me laugh out loud tonight was when instead of trading punches with the gang leader Heatwave decided to go "Oh, what the hell" and just spontaneously fry him. Very much like Indiana Jones pulling the gun and blowing away the Arab sword guy.

Overall, I'm liking very much how the CW's three superhero shows are not just doing occasional crossovers now but are really flowing together on an ongoing basis. (And I guess you have to also include Vixen and soon even Supergirl.) I've never seen anything quite like this cooperative before on tv.
