Its not that hard to believe that Twister was a recurring villain.

The fact Twister has turned into a Freddy Krueger-esque kind of boogey man makes extremely unlikely the Titans faced him more than once.

I don't know how Don's presence is meant to be just symbolic. Don's death and Dawn taking the Dove mantle is canon in the N52

Not symbolic at all, just that the team then and the scattered characters being pulled by half-memories now aren't an exact match. Dick's name and costume change aren't that much different from Garth and Donna's changes, and Hawk isn't removed from the fray by having a different Dove.

Of course, by that token Dick doesn't really need the Nightwing costume at all, but if the mask jogs his memory it's a less harmful way of achieving that than Roy's been trying.

I'd love to see Batgirl return to a more serious book, like when Gail Simone was writing it, but I think I'm in the minority Thing is I'd probably love Batgirl of Burnside if it was Steph in the suit. I just think it's an ill fit for Barbara. Tim Drake needs a soft reboot. He's a poor shade of his preboot self. Maybe a mini series focusing on developing his character and then stick him in a monthly with Jason.
