What's going on with Marvel's writing?

I'm not even sure what to say about these except, 'what?' These aren't edited, right? The writing feels more like something you'd expect from fan-fiction or the seedy side of Tumblr.







I am aware the second image is the Axis Iceman, but still... Although a lot of what Axis Iceman said was fairly hilarious.

And the last one is Spider-Man and the X-Men. So the top is really the most recent.

I havent read Thor in a while.... did i miss some interesting stories?
I want to read that book where Bor learns about MRAs, Redpills, and Israel.
That sounds like an interesting book.

I'm not sure I get what the problems is. I mean, I don't like that writing either, but it's not like reading the book and getting caught off guard, it's just looking at some scans. I wouldn't expect them to make sense if I have no idea what's going on.

And i think that the other two too.

That's what I thought, but someone made a video where they actually read through the comic (on Marvel's site or maybe Comixology) and that was from the actual comic. Maybe the others are hoaxes, but someone will have to confirm that.

The one with Iceman and Firestar is from Amazing X-Men #7, the issue that reteamed Spider-Man with His Amazing Friends to celebrate Peter Parker's return as the Amazing Spider-Man after the conclusion of Superior Spider-Man. The issue was written by Kathryn Immonen, who also wrote Journey Into Mystery Featuring/Starring Sif as part of the Marvel NOW! relaunch, and it was pretty much a filler issue before Chris Yost took over from Jason Aaron. Speaking of, big shame that Yost never got to write a crossover between Amazing X-Men and his New Warriors series; would've been fun(ny) to see Kaine meet up with the X-Men again as a New Warrior after the team-up with Wolverine in Scarlet Spider #17-19.
