Overused Marvel Villains

Yeah, Tiger Shark can be pretty frightening killing machine, like Jaws on land, if done right. Any hero that isn't in some heavy costume or armor can get seriously hurt by those razor sharp teeth. Is he still as strong as Namor? And I think that would be on land or sea.

He needs a good update from a modern creator, he's a serious heavyweight and a very dangerous killer. He's Namor level in strength, and should be portrayed that way, but I think he's weighed down by his "goon" persona. He gets dismissed a lot because he's seen a just a thug type character.

Agreed, His dialogue is usually pretty much standard crook speak from the silver age.

Speaking of Tiger Shark to me this was one of his best apperances.

A lot of Namor's villains are stuck in their Silver Age personas, as Namor's never really had a long ongoing since then. There was the Byrne run, but it was a spotty run. Namor's world and all his characters need a good modern upgrade.
