I was looking through cable and deadpool.
I liked how they managed to take a powerful, deep, but boring character and match him up with a sillly character, that is difficult to build on.
the combination made a very well respected comic.
I was wondering, if a similar formula could be used with other b or c stringers, especially those that have shown the demand to run a comic.
In particular, as a means to push female characters in a way that might allow them to flesh out.
The one's in particular is a ms marvel and she hulk comic.
one's a hard nose military woman with an acid tongue.
the other is a glib lawyer with a tendency to address the audience.
they fight crime
Use their character development and back story from their limited run and make them almost the marvel dirty pair, especially when they aren't being used with the avengers.
Mix their rogues gallerys, develop other ones tailored for taking on two tough female supers, and use their interplay to showcase what they can do.
what do you guys think?
edit: I'm referring to Carol Danvers and Jennifer Walters.
