All I can think of is Rob Leifeld saying DC was biting Image with the first one.
"People look at us and see the poor and the mad, but they’re looking at us through the bar of their cages.
There’s a palace in your head, boy.
Learn to live in it always. " -- Grant Morrison
For some reason this reminds me of the Movement, and that can't be a good thing. Have any of those characters even shown up again after that book?
OK, they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point.
lmao. Is it April Fools already?
Although this could lead to a new Hitman series, which I'd be willing to try out depending on the team involved.
Batgirl - ...BOP - Batman - 'Tec - Nightwing - Supergirl - Titans - Wonder Woman
At least it isn't more Batman and Harley Quinn crap that you guys salivate over. I'll most likely pick this up. I hope DC announces more new titles.
So you spend years killing these characters off, making them into jokes, and the like but now you want to do a series? The hell? Sounds kinda interesting though. They should bring back Jared Stevens as Dr. Fate. Would read that if Giffen would do it.
so DC try something new and people still moan and complain, smh.
"Yes...Mondo Cool"- Vegeta.
I really hope the image to the left (the character group shot) is just a tribute to the '90s comic and it has nothing to do with the way the comic will actually look... *Sigh*
DC Entertainment, can you please promote DiDio and Lee (all due respect) to some agnostic overseer position and get a new EiC already? Pretty please!
The 90s had their moments, but their aesthetics have disappeared for a reason... ; )

People have been saying since the New 52 that "we're bummed the old DC Universe is gone", "go back to the way it was", etc... now DC brings back something from their past, and it's "scraping the bottom of the barrel"... without even seeing a single panel from the comic book... okay then. I don't find that this is a weird decision at all, especially considering Convergence?
Talk about snap judgement on something we've seen anything about. It's fine if people are not interested in Bloodlines, but the lack of support that any kind of idea that a comic book company comes up with on this board is astounding.
Exactly this.
Okay, if the original Bloodlines characters were kind of Image-type, Extreme/Awesome characters and they kind of stood out when compared to the more iconic DC characters, I wonder how this new breed of Bloodlines characters will be designed or stand out given that basically the entire DCU is now populated with Image-type, Extreme/Awesome characters? I think I'll be missing this one - can only afford to buy Batman, Justice League, Lois and Clark, and Titans Hunt from DC at this point to minimize the amount of revulsion that I feel towards the current DCU...
Is this happening so they can bring back Hitman?
