Comics similar to Criminal Minds

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a comic to suggest to someone who likes the TV show Criminal Minds who doesn't normally read comics.

I've come up with nothing. I'm looking for suggestions, I would prefer trades. But what ideas does anyone have out there?

Well, it not's really the same but I'd suggest Criminal by Brubaker and Phillips. It's written from the point of view of the criminals and doesn't involve a lot of investigating but it's a brilliant character study of the criminal mind. It doesn't hurt that it has a very exciting plot and great art as well. If he liked that, you could always try giving something like Sin City or Stray Bullets.
