If you could write Swamp Thing...

If anyone fancies themselves pretty expert on Moore's Swamp Thing run, please private message me, I have a chronology question (where to place DC Pres 85 among S.Thing #38,39,40...I've seen 3 different orderings)

I have Swamp Thing probably explore and know their is not just a Green (Flora), Red (Fauna), Grey (Decay) and Blue (Ocean) but there is also a White (Air), Blue (Ocean), Yellow (Land), Indigo (Light) and Purple (Minerals) forces on Earth.

Do you have characters to put in those groups? That last one, Purple (Minerals) seems like a challenge.

Land - Geo-Force, Terra
Light - Solstice
Minerals - Metamorpho, Elemental Girl or Kole

Finding one for each is easy. Don't stop there, keep going if you can.

If I were given free reign on a new Swamp Thing comic I'd write a continuation of the 1991 cartoon series. I don't care what anyone says, I loved that series and have always been greatly disappointed that it only got a mere five episodes.

I would try to keep to the tone and feel of the cartoon while expanding upon it and answering questions that the series never had chance to. What are Skin Man, Deemo and Weed Killer's origins? How did they end up working for Arcane? How did Alec Holland/Swamp Thing first meet Abby, Tomahawk and Jack? How is Abby able to live safely at the Arcane plantation? Things like that.

Arcane would of course still be the main antagonist but I'd also introduce some new ones. There would also be appearances from a few other DC characters but no-one major (so no Superman, Batman etc.). I'd also introduce Scorcher as Arcane's new henchman (he was one of four action figures that never got made).

If you're curious about some of the stories I'd write then check out my fanfictions. (And given that there's a Justice League/Power Rangers crossover comic, I don't think a Swamp Thing/Power Rangers crossover would look out of place on comic shelves).

I suppose I would take him out of Louisiana and put him somewhere different. Probably a billabong in Australia because I know that better. Then I would tell more stories like the ones I used to hear about people living off the land and how they survived in a wild place
