DC Animated Original Movies Discussion

I feel like there's going to be something, continuity or otherwise, coming after Crisis because they talked about doing a Batfamily movie (maybe with the Batfamily characters introduced in this movie).

I think it might come in the later parts.

For now they're just incorporating the DC Showcase shorts and characters from established DC AU's who would make to show up here.

Maybe unless they had to change their plans in making that batfam movie. I wonder if dcau is in there where would they come in maybe part 2 or 3. Since right now we are getting the showcase wait did they ever given dcau a showcase ?

It's the same art design as the rest of the Tomorrowverse so it's not surprising to be underwhelming. Hopefully, if there is a new universe after this one, the art design will be better.

I never get the criticism about the Tomorrowverse designs. I know people call it "flat" but that feels more like the coloring than the designs, otherwise it feels like a stylized rendition of the DCU like the DCAU.

For me, and perhaps others too, the designs just aren't my thing. They aren't necessarily bad. I just don't like them at all. I think a lot of it has to do with an individual's tastes. I am glad you see and others like the designs, I just don't.

The designs are fine, it's the way they are animated that's the issue.

This scene is very awkward. There are a lot of unnatural pauses in the dialogue. Maybe for animation reasons? The long pause, still shot of Flash, all of a sudden his eyes narrow and he goes "it's true, it's all true!" was very poor. They barely did anything to convey that Barry had any sort of discovery.

It feels very flat and boring. The voice acting is all over the place and it's hard to believe these characters are in the same room. Maybe I'm just nitpicking but I also haven't seen any of the other Tomorrowverse movies so I don't know if this is their standard.

. Given there no other connections on the spine artwork most likely there aren't rebooting it in the same artstyle and this universe. But makes you wonder where the batfam movie fits.
