Grayson would be cool but I just don't like this universe they have so if they developed that I would want it to be completely stand alone.

I believe Sinestro Corps War was being optioned by Dan Didio for a film but never worked out. A series of GL films starting at Recharge and going all the way through Blackest Night would be pretty cool. I'd even like to see some of the New 52 storylines as well. They can skip War of the Green Lanterns, I don't think many people cared for it anyway

Has anyone watched the new Batman and Harly Quinn movie?

I had planned on skipping this one. It just looks unappealing to me.

any thoughts? Supersons would require some retconning for Jon and I'm not too interested in seeing more Damian/Bruce movies for a while so I rather not adapt the batman solos yet.

other than that i'm cool with the list.

Why do I get the feeling whoever compiled this list just went for the grander scale storylines? Lazarus Contract, and the two Hitch Justice League storylines were poorly received. I'd like to see less focus on Batman, or at least the Batfamily. Night of the Monster Men certainly has potential, as it's pretty much a Gotham City-set Kaiju movie already. The scene with Bruce and Claire at the end of I am Gotham would have me in tears.

Return of the Cape Crusaders was fantastic and Batman VS Two-Face looks great. But outside of those and Gods and Monsters I'd say all DC animated films since Flashpoint have been rentals.

I liked it but honestly I know it part of the original story but given how she was drawn seeing a girl as young as Terra hitting on Deathstroke was uncomfortable to watch on film. Also the Kevin Smith who I usually love but his cameo took me out of the film. Which annoyed me because the spoilers:
    Donna reveal was fun
    end of spoilers

I liked the way the characters are written in Judas Contract, much better than in JLvsTT.

And damian, jaime, bb, raven are a pretty solid core for a today TT roster. (with starfire chaperoning and dick passing by sometime)

I'm not sure we are allowed spoilers, so I'll just keep my details kinda vague...

I liked the voice actors for Batman and Nightwing, but Ivy and Harley's voice actors are terrible IMO. Harley's voice was especially grating. She also had a SINGING number, in fact, there were two singing numbers that happen at a club. The movie does NOT take itself seriously at all. You may like that or not, but it felt like a hammy B movie. You can find blatant references to the 66 Batman and even fan favorites from BTAS.

Batman's characterization was really off. He was actually quippy and smiling a lot which was weird to me. The humor ranges from puns to low brow potty humor with bodily fluids.

The plot was by the numbers: Jason Woodrue and Ivy wants to rid the world of humanity because we consume and deforest the environment, etc. Batman and friends have to stop them.

Is it set in the DCAU continuity?

I don't think they've explicitly confirmed it's set in the DCAU.

It's probably for the best to just say it's DCAU-inspired.
